YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Ministry refuted media reports that Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenian Edward Nalbandian has remained Armenia’s Ambassador to Israel.

“It is an absurd statement. After being appointed to the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, letters were sent to Israel, Vatican and Andorra to inform he left the post,” Spokesman for Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He also refuted the information that a source close to Armenian Foreign Ministry spread the information.

Nalbandian served as Armenia’s Ambassador to Israel with concurrent accreditation to Vatican and Andorra.
