Azerbaijan has offered to cancel weddings and funeral repasts due to the coronavirus since there is a high risk of infection during massive events, as reported the operational headquarters adjunct to the cabinet of Azerbaijan’s ministers.

“In support of the Azerbaijani government’s actions for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, once again, we call on citizens to avoid visiting crowded places and not travel abroad, as well as wear face masks, special protective goggles and use disinfectants, if necessary,” the statement of the headquarters reads.
