YEREVAN. - The meeting of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington on April indicates that the U.S. wishes to emphasize its role in the Karabakh negotiation process, Giro Manoyan, Head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, Washington wishes to say that Moscow bears not all burden of Karabakh conflict resolution on its shoulders. “Since the last meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents was held under the auspices of Moscow, Washington just wants to say it is not up to Russia to decide everything in Karabakh issue. There is no other explanation for the meeting of the co-chairs with the U.S. Secretary of State,” Manoyan noted.
