YEREVABN. - The political statement by “Heritage” party leader Raffi Hovannisian was quite remarkable and profound, Head of Republican parliamentary group (RPA) Galust Sahakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Despite this fact, Hovannisian’s political statement is not urgent, as at the moment the Armenian National Congress (ANC) is trying gain political power in the opposition arena,” he noted.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Leader of oppositional “Heritage” party Raffi Hovannisyan made a statement, presenting his demands to the Armenian authorities. He demanded implementation of constitutional reforms, recognition of the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court and withdrawal of Armenia’s signature from Armenia-Turkey Protocols.
