YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan discussed issues related to EU-Armenia cooperation with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule.

President Sargsyan stressed that frequent high level meetings, as well as the signed declaration testify to dynamically developing relations between Armenia and EU, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The EU commissioner stressed that by joint active efforts Armenia and EU can intensify relations in 2011. Speaking of a joint declaration signed between Armenia and EU, Fule stressed it is aimed at bringing Armenia closer to the European Union.

President Sargsyan expressed readiness to implementation of democratic reforms, whereas the European Commission will provide assistance on the matter.
