YEREVAN. – NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange reported no foreign currency transaction on May 2.
The demand was registered at AMD 372/$1 exchange rate, however, AMD/USD exchange rate in the stock exchange was AMD 372.5/$1.
Commercial banks increased the US Dollar exchange rates on the cash currency market. By 4:00 p.m., local time, some exchange offices purchased US Dollars at an exchange rate of AMD 370.5/$1 and sold at AMD 372/$1.
