The U.S. raid that killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is also thought to have killed his wife in Pakistan, John Brennan, Obama’s chief counterterrorism adviser stated at a briefing.

According to him, one of Osama’s wives acted as a human shield in a raid by U.S. forces.

As reported earlier, one of his sons was also reported to be among those killed during the operation by U.S. forces in Abbottabad in Pakistan.
