YEREVAN. – Considerable revaluation of US Dollar was registered on Tuesday at Armenia’s stock exchange.

Most likely Armenia’s stock exchange responded to information about killing of Osama Bin Laden which caused increase in dollar price throughout the world, experts said.

The average exchange rate was AMD 374/ $1. Overall, $2.1 million was sold.

Exchange rates were up on the cash currency market as well. As of 4:00 p.m. local time (GMT +4:00) banks purchased US Dollars at the exchange rate of AMD 372/$1 and sold at AMD 374/$1.
