YEREVAN. – Armenia can become a stabilizing factor in the South Caucasus, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite told the journalists in Yerevan after her meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan.
“Despite historical role your people are capable of solving the conflict peacefully,” she said.
Dalia Grybauskaite welcomed efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group in the Karabakh peace process stressing that not a single country or organization will back military solution to the conflict. “It is a message which I directed to leadership of all three states I visited,” she noted. Lithuanian President also stressed that the country will back all the initiatives directed to confidence building between the sides.
