YEREVAN. – Armenia considers Lithuania a reliable partner, said Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan summing up the visit of Lithuania’s president to Armenia.
Bilateral relations between Lithuania and Armenia develop dynamically, he added. President Sargsyan stressed the importance of further intensification of bilateral cooperation. In particular, Armenia is interested in Lithuania’s experience in European integration.
Lituanian President Dalia Grybauskaite stressed that Lithuania’s goal as an incumbent OSCE Chairman is stimulation of Armenia’s European integration process that will intensify democratization of the country. She expressed readiness to share Lithuania’s experience in this field.
Speaking of bilateral economic cooperation, Grybauskaite noted both countries have great potential.
“We are ready to invest in Armenia’s economy,” she noted.
