STEPANAKERT. - President of the Artsakh Republic (Nagorno Karabakh) Bako Sahakyan signed several decrees on May 5 on the occasion of 19th anniversary of the liberation of Shoushi city.

Nineteen citizens, 5 of them posthumously were awarded with the Medal “For Courage” for personal bravery in protecting the motherland.

For successful performance of combat missions, raising combat readiness of the forces as well as courage shown while defending state borders 460 citizens, 26 of them posthumously were awarded with the Medal “For Service in Battle”.

For personal bravery during the battles for the liberation of Shoushi 26 citizens, one of them posthumously, were awarded with the Medal “For Liberation of Shoushi”.

President Sahakyan also signed decrees on handing in valuable gifts, NKR presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
