YEREVAN. – The programs implemented with the support of Armenia's international partners have been implemented by about 54 percent. At the same time, the programs implemented on the account of internal resources were implemented by 96 percent. Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan stated this during Monday’s debates on the 2019 state budget performance report, at the joint sitting of the standing committees of the National Assembly of Armenia.
In particular, the minister noted that if these indicators are expressed in numbers, the amount of expenditures approved since the beginning of the year was 1 trillion 508 billion drams, but the actual expenditures were 1 trillion 553 billion drams.
According to Janjughazyan, they have no problem in terms of funding of the programs implemented on the account of international donors, as there are relevant agreements, and the funds agreed within the framework of these agreements are fully available. "From this point of view, our task is linked more to implementing programs than to funding [them]. The implementation of these programs depends on two factors: the training of economic entities, and the ability to manage those programs. These two issues are on our agenda," the minister added.
