YEREVAN. Snap elections in Armenia are not included on the political agenda of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), head of “Heritage” parliamentary faction Stepan Safaryan told reporters on Friday.

He stressed that Ter-Petrosyan puts forward demand on early elections for propaganda, which is very dangerous and misleading for public.

According to Safaryan, the absence of the issue on the ANC’s agenda does not mean that there are no prerequisites for early elections.

In her turn, a member of “Heritage” party Zaruhi Postanjyan added that under current circumstances snap elections or extraordinary developments are not ruled out in Armenia, as nowadays Armenia is in the state of emergency and is in need of extraordinary decisions.

The Armenian National Congress regularly raises the issue on holding snap presidential and parliamentary elections in Armenia.
