According to the assessment of the Central Bank of Armenia, Armenia will record negative economic growth, based on the results of the year 2020. This is what Governor of the Central Bank Martin Galstyan said during the session of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly today.
Galstyan said decline will be lower than expected and the coronavirus pandemic will have a more negative impact on the public food, tourism and service. He also stated that private consumption and private investments will also decline during the times of uncertainty.
