Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today held a consultation during which the Entrepreneur + State Anti-Crisis Investments Interim Report of the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) was considered.

During the discussion, the course of implementation of investment programs within the scope of the Public-Private Partnership were presented in detail, and it was reported that the Fund and foreign investors are considering 6-7 investment programs in various sectors. It was also mentioned that the closure of borders due to the coronavirus pandemic are impeding advancement and implementation of the programs to a certain extent. In spite of this, representatives of the ANIF said works are in progress, and the ANIF will submit a new report in a few months.

Several other recommendations for the promotion of investments were also presented, particularly mechanisms for implementation of programs, standards and the toolkit for management of potential risks.

Prime Minister Pashinyan assigned the representatives to continue efforts to implement the anti-crisis economic measures and submit new recommendations.
