Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday chaired a consultation to discuss the construction of the Kaps Reservoir of Armenia.

It was noted that the cost of this project is estimated at 60 million euros, and it is planned to be implemented in cooperation with the German KfW bank.

The water capacity of the Kaps Reservoir will be 60 million cubic meters—and with a 51-meter-long dam.

The project is scheduled to start in 2021 and end in 3.5 years.

The PM underscored the implementation of this project and instructed to take into account the planning of energy capacities, too, when implementing it.

Also, Pashinyan stressed the issue of ensuring water demand and effective management of water resources, and noted that it is necessary to carry out consistent work in this regard.
