YEREVAN. – Six billion 98 million drams will be allocated from the state budget in 2021 for the implementation of seven measures envisaged by the parliament of Armenia. Lilya Sirakanyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Assembly (NA), said this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Wednesday’s joint meeting of the NA Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on State and Legal Affairs.

Moreover, according to her, 92.2 percent of the aforesaid funds will be spent on the full functioning of the parliament, and the provision of expert-analytical and representative services.

Sirakanyan noted that the expenses for the maintenance of the parliament shall be reduced by 8.7 million drams as compared to 2020.
