YEREVAN. – In 2021, it is planned to allocate 5 billion 793 million drams for the needs of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia. Hmayak Navasardyan, spokesman for the Prosecutor General's Office, stated this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Wednesday’s joint meeting of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly.

These funds shall be used for the implementation of three programs.

And close to 92 percent of these funds provided by the state shall be spent on paying the salaries of the employees of the Prosecutor General's Office.
