Incumbent US President Donald Trump intends to run in the 2024 presidential election if he loses in 2020, his former adviser Brian Lanz told the BBC.

According to him, if the leader of the Republican Party loses the 2020 election, he will have all the grounds to fight again.

According to The New York Times, Trump himself said in a private conversation that he will run for president in 2024, although he will be 78 years old at that time.

The daily also notes that Donald Trump will remain the leader of the Republicans, even if he leaves the White House.
