Out of the 500 elevators in Yerevan, nearly 320 have been installed. This is what Deputy Mayor of Yerevan for Financial Affairs Sergey Nersesyan said in response to deputies’ questions during today’s joint session of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment of the National Assembly of Armenia.

In 2020, 500 worn out elevators must be replaced in apartment buildings in Yerevan.

Nersesyan also informed that the works are being carried out according to plan.

“Almost 320 elevators have been installed, but nearly 160 have been exploited. Works are being carried out according to plan, in spite of the current situation in the country,” Nersesyan stated.
