A charge has been brought against leader of One Armenia opposition party Artur Ghazinyan under the elements of Article 225.1 of the Criminal Code (organizing and holding an assembly I violation of the procedure established by law).
Ghazinyan told reporters that he was detained under another article, but was charged under the elements of another article. “It’s clear that this is political persecution. There is almost no legal component in this criminal case,” he said.
Signature to not leave has been selected as a pre-trial measure against Ghazinyan.
