As of today, Russia has opened its air border for the citizens of Armenia for a month, only today there are six flights to Russia, four of which are to Moscow, and at 7.55am the first flight flew to Mineralnye Vody. Naira Zohrabyan, an MP of the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party, on Monday morning wrote about this on Facebook.

"One should have seen the joy of the Armenian family that it is one of the first lucky ones to have a [plane] ticket; something like a winning lottery. Yesterday, a one-way ticket to Moscow was sold for 700 [US] dollars, and do not be surprised if they start selling the Moscow ticket at auction in lots.

Sadly, this emigration will be the biggest migration of Armenians. (…). Today, Armenians are the most defenseless in their homeland.

By an interesting pattern, most of those who leave Armenia are those who elected [PM] Nikol [Pashinyan]. (…). I do not doubt for a minute that Nikol will leave [power]. I do not doubt for a minute that he knows that, too.

The problem of Armenia is the witnesses to Nikol's infallibility, who do not have 700 dollars to buy a [plane] ticket and leave the homeland. (…). And while I was writing this, one of the witnesses to Nikol's infallibility asked me to find a familiar pilot to flee to Moscow at a slightly cheaper price, on the section of the flight attendants,” Zohrabyan added.
