YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: People close to [ex-President] Serzh Sargsyan and the family environment have told Zhoghovurd daily that Serzh Sargsyan believes that RA former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, not [ex-PM] Karen Karapetyan or anyone else, should replace Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in this position.

Since 2020, [Tigran Sargsyan] became Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank.

During this time, Serzh Sargsyan works on having T. Sargsyan return to Armenia and pass the Prime Minister's baton to him. Serzh Sargsyan is doing his best to have someone from his [political] team return to the “seat” of Prime Minister, as he has other goals.

And [ex-PM] Vazgen Manukyan, the candidate for the post of Prime Minister nominated by the opposition leaders, is not to Serzh Sargsyan’s liking. Moreover, the latter seriously criticizes him inside, and does not even see him in the office of the Prime Minister.
