Member of U.S. Congress, Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann announced Monday that she will run for U.S. presidential elections.

Bachmann announced her bid during a Republican presidential debate in New Hampshire. She is popular with tea party members and her credentials as a social conservative make her a threat to other candidates.

Michelle Bachmann is a supporter of recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the U.S. She received B+ rating from the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA).
