YEREVAN. - In order to enforce the proposals outlined in conclusions of temporary Parliamentary commission on March 1, 2008, events study, Armenian police presented to Government’s approval the list of utilized weapons and special means, reads the official web-site of the Government of Armenia.

If the government accepts the proposal, information on all kinds of police weapons, special tools, personal protective equipment and ammunition will be published.

According to the Government website, traumatic and gas guns, spray packs and electroshock weapons are among personal protective equipment of police officers.

Different types of grenades (gas, smoke, tear gas, etc.), Key and Impulse small explosive devices, water cannons, Tiger, BRDM-1, BTR-70, BTR-80, and BTR-60 PU armored vehicles are listed as means for special operations. Service dogs go under the same category.
