Lebanese security forces have called on residents of the country not to use the CallApp mobile application due to suspicious activity related to Israel, MEM reports.

As part of the ongoing monitoring of suspicious applications, especially those created by the Israeli adversary, suspicions have recently emerged regarding an application called CallApp, Lebanon's general directorate of state security said in a statement.

The office urged Lebanese and Lebanese citizens not to use the app, adding that the app can monitor and manage all calls on smartphones. The danger of CallApp lies in its ability to control all the contact details of the phone, the statement said.
