Five militants, backed by the Syrian Democratic Forces, were killed in an attack on a military vehicle in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, SANA reported.

According to local sources, a militia group ambushed a vehicle associated with the SDF near the town in the western countryside of Deir Ez-Zor and attacked it with machine guns, killing 5 militants and causing damage to the vehicle.

Attacks against SDF militants continue: on Thursday, a militant was killed as a result of an attack by popular groups with machine guns on a car in which he was driving in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez-Zor, the agency noted.
