Azerbaijan will not get military support from U.S. in upcoming two years. However, Baku may expect assistance from Turkey and Georgia, Georgian military expert Giorgi Tavdgiridze told in the interview with SalamNews.

He did not excluded that Northern Caucasus may also assist Azerbaijan. The expert stated that Azerbaijan and Georgia aim to decrease Russia’s influence on Southern Caucasus, which requires subtle and hard efforts to run within the region and with international leading states. Aggressive strategy may also be employed, however, Armenia does not have independent external policy and depends on Russia. In case Armenia has leader that will not depend on Russia, an agreement may be reached to return Karabakh peacefully, he added.

According to Tavdgiridze , U.S. will not support Azerbaijan in upcoming two years as it will not allow war in the region. In case war beaks up, U.S. will try to stop it quickly.
