BAKU. - The UN General Assembly has approved two Azerbaijan-related issues on its latest agenda of the 66th session which will start on September 14.

The issues under numbers 35 and 39–“Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their implications for international peace, security and development” and “The situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan” were submitted for voting, as it wasn’t voted on during the 65th session, APA reports.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Azerbaijan withdrew a draft resolution on Nagorno-Karabakh from the United Nations General Assembly 65th session under international pressure.

Failing the Kazan meeting of the Presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, official Baku has again intensified its non-constructive actions. On June 26, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev once again used war-mongering rhetoric. Now Baku tries to revive an anti-Armenian draft resolution.
