YEREVAN. – Armenian authorities exclude snap elections. However, authorities are ready to discuss it with the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC), ruling Republican Party MP, member of the working group on dialogue with opposition Gagik Minasyan told at a press conference on Thursday.
“If one is confident in his position, then he can easily listen to offers and arguments of the opponent and strengthen his position. The position of the authority is justified and we do not see any danger in discussions. We expect that the position and viewpoints of the ANC will be justified as well. They will also listen to our arguments and change their position met by stronger arguments,” Minasyan stated and added that the duration of the dialogue between authorities and opposition will depend on how serious both sides approach to the issue and the importance of the dialogue.
