YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: As it is known, in the last few months, [PM] Nikol Pashinyan has been holding a series of meetings with extra-parliamentary forces, which are called "extra-parliamentary opposition" within the circles of the authorities, but in fact serve Pashinyan's political interests.

According to Past newspaper’s information, during the last meeting with the representatives of his satellite forces, Nikol Pashinyan presented details on the process of the so-called "normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations."

But the main point of the meeting was the topic of constitutional amendments [in Armenia]. According to our information, Pashinyan first presented at what phase the work of the [constitutional reform] commission is, then added that the mentioned political forces can also present a package of proposals; moreover, be actively involved in the process. In essence, this is done to legitimize the process and later to offer the new Constitution as a document created by a "broad” political “consensus."
