YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Receiving the group of Armenia’s intellectuals, Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] President Arayik Harutyunyan, speaking about the 2020 war, presented his analysis on the reasons for the war and defeat.

He stressed that we had lost [the war even] before September 27 as we [already] had lost the demographic "war." "If we had had a population of 250-300 thousand, we would definitely not have lost."

And we had been far behind the world in the matter of modernization of armaments.

And on October 3, he realized once and for all that we were losing [the war], and he warned about it, but they did not listen to him.
