YEREVAN. – Armenian government referred to the resignation issue of the Governor of Lori Aram Kocharyan for the second time at the session on Thursday.
Earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am informed that the governor resigned on June 14, and the decision would be in power on August 12, as he was in leave. However, the government reviewed its decision and fired the governor again on Thursday.
Alaverdi city Mayor Arthur Nalbandyan was appointed as new Governor of Lori according to another decision. Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan stated that Nalbandyan has twice been elected as a mayor and enjoys trust of his co-citizens.
