YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The parliamentary opposition is not ready to fight persistently and consistently even inside the walls of the parliament.
We were informed that the [ruling majority] Civil Contract [(CC)] faction [in the National Assembly] has nominated a candidate also for the last vacancy of a member of the Television and Radio Commission, although, according to the law, the right to fill that spot was reserved for the [parliamentary] opposition.
The [parliamentary] opposition launched three unsuccessful attempts to nominate a candidate for the post (…) whom the CC rejected. (…) therefore the [parliamentary] opposition has refused to nominate another candidate.
