YEREVAN. - In Armenia the heat will reach +40 degrees Celsius on July 30, 31 and August 1, head of Armstatehydromet of Hydrometeorology Operational Center Zaruhi Petrosyan told on Thursday.

She noted that this temperature is considered to be dangerous, which might be a signal for the government to close all agencies and announce a holiday.

According to her, the air temperature above 40 degrees C was recorded in Armenia only twice, most recently in 2002 when the temperature reached +43 degrees Celsius.

Petrosyan advised to dress in bright colors, preferably white and do take plenty of liquid and, if possible, avoid direct sunlight.
