Zhoghovurd daily writes. After the 44-day [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war [in the fall of 2020], when almost the whole society was blaming and calling the prime minister and his [political] team to account, [PM Nikol] Pashinyan issued a statement about 10 days later, presenting the roadmap for the upcoming things to do.
To date, however, only a few provisions of the 15-point "roadmap" have been implemented—and in part. The issues of the status of Artsakh and the priority of the return of the people of Artsakh to their places of residence, the return of normal life in Artsakh have not been actually resolved. Moreover, tension and the issue of security are growing in Artsakh.
After Pashinyan's announcement, the issue of the return of the captured soldiers and civilians has not been completely resolved either. The fate of many of the missing is unknown to this day. No work has been done at all in terms of provision "Formation of a system of psychological rehabilitation of the people who took part in the war, and the society in general."
From the points noted by Nikol Pashinyan, only the political provisions have been fulfilled to some extent; that is, the adoption of the [new] Electoral Code, the bringing to fruition of the court to confiscate illegal property, and the prime minister’s regular meeting the with extra-parliamentary forces (…).
As for the critical problems caused as a result of the 44-day devastating and catastrophic war, they have remained largely unresolved.
