YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Yesterday, the opposition was preparing for today's special [parliamentary] session, on the agenda of which is the statement on Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani relations: "Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] shall never be part of Azerbaijan."
Yesterday it was "the calm before the storm." There was no [opposition] rally, no march, as everyone was working to so that today's rally at 16:00 be as impressive and crowded as possible.
Let us recall that June 3 has been declared a "watershed day." "Whoever is against this document is against the Armenian people, or is an agent of the enemy, or serves the interests of the enemy," [Resistance Movement coordinator] Ishkhan Saghatelyan [the National Assembly deputy speaker from the opposition "Armenia" Faction and a representative of the Supreme Body of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party of Armenia] had said.
By the way, the rumors that [Artur] Vanetsyan [the leader of the opposition "With Honor" Faction of the National Assembly and chairman of the opposition Homeland Party] has left the [aforesaid] movement are false; today he will take part in the rally.
