YEREVAN. – Arsen Torosyan, an MP from the ruling majority “Civil Contract” Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, on Thursday met with World Bank representatives Tania Dmytraczenko, Adanna Deborah Ugochi Chuwuma, and Toomas Palu.

Torosyan highlighted the continued support provided by the World Bank for the reforms in Armenia, the NA informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The sides reflected on the healthcare reforms being implemented in Armenia. In particular, a number of issues related to the introduction of a comprehensive health insurance system in the country were discussed.

Arsen Torosyan noted that he proposed to amend the draft concept of introducing a comprehensive health insurance, which is currently under discussion.

The guests presented their approaches and experience on the issue. Also, the representatives of the World Bank noted that they are ready to provide assistance to Armenia to implement this program.
