YEREVAN. - Armenian police charged another three activists of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), who have been released on August 12.

Areg Gevorgyan, Sahak Muradyan and David Kiramijyan were invited to Main Investigation Department of Armenian Police where they were charged with Article 258, part 3, paragraph 1(hooliganism) of the Criminal Code, the chairman of ANC Legal Service Armen Khachatryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. He mentioned that the young men refused to give testimony or sign any document.

Earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am informed that ANC activists have been detained last Tuesday, around 10:00 p.m. from Northern Avenue of Yerevan downtown. On August 12, 2011, Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative court of general jurisdiction ruled against Tigran Arakelyan, Sargis Karapetyan and Artak Gevorgyan sentencing them to two months detention, yet the other activists were released on recognizance.
