YEREVAN. – Fifty-five Armenian police cars and 6 cars of State Security Service will be sold from an auction in coming months, says the official web-site of Armenian Government.

According to the source, all vehicles are worn out by 70 percent or more. The police cars are predominantly of Soviet and Russian production and cost around $1-2 thousand. There are also Hyundai vehicles imported in early 1990s by former Minister of Interior Vano Siradeghyan. Thus, the starting price for Hyundai Poni of 1993 is AMD 870 thousand (less than $ 2,400), and for Hyundai Lantra - AMD 1 million (about $ 2,700).
