YEREVAN. – Standing committee on territorial management and local self-government of Armenia’s parliament discussed on Friday dismantling of kiosks in Yerevan. Representatives of parliament groups, first Deputy Mayor Taron Margaryan and other city hall officials participated in the meeting.
According to Margaryan, works on demolition of 1138 kiosks (out of 3827) have been carried out. The mentioned kiosks have not been functioning over the recent years. Margaryan stressed that only unregistered kiosks or those with expiring agreements were dismantled in the streets of Yerevan downtown.
