The court granted the motion to arrest the director of Surmalu trade center, the prosecutor's office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Seven months after the tragic explosion in Surmalu, trade center director Irina Madatova was detained.
The explosion at the Surmalu mall took place on August 14, 2022, killing 16 people.
As a result of the explosion, more than 60 people were injured to varying degrees of severity. There are four people in the status of the accused.
