YEREVAN. – The Russian company, which is 100-percent shareholder of Electrical Network of Armenia company is considering selling 20 percent of its shares to a French company, Zhoghovurd daily writes.

“According to our sources, September 23 is mentioned as the date for this business deal. By the way, the French for a long time are studying the electricity networks and substations, their capacity, and by and large the general condition of the system. It is also interesting that this business deal will be carried out prior to French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s visit to Armenia. It seems France’s positions in our country have started to further strengthen,” Zhoghovurd writes.
