Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said it is unacceptable that the Karabakh conflict should remain unresolved.

Speaking at the 66th session of the UN General Assembly, Erdogan stressed that more efforts should be taken to resolve frozen conflicts. “Turkey always defended principles and laws of the UN Charter,” he added.

Turkey unilaterally closed its land border with Armenia in solidarity with Azerbaijan when the Karabakh war started.
