STEPANAKERT.- President of Nagorno-Karabakh Bako Sahakyan visited Mother See on Holy Etchmiadzin on Tuesday to meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

The issues related to the state-church relations and spiritual life in Karabakh were discussed during the meeting.

President Sahakyan stressed that the Armenian Apostolic Church is the base of independent Armenian statehood and strengthening of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity.

On the same day Bako Sahakyan met in Yerevan with British philanthropist of Armenian origin Vache Manukyan to discuss issues related to implementation of different programs in Karabakh.
