As of Friday, the second power unit of the nuclear power plant of Armenia is undergoing annual planned preventive maintenance for 75 days.
Also, some safety systems of this power unit will be upgraded.
Specialists from Russia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and some other countries are also engaged in this work.
The second power unit of the Armenian nuclear plant is scheduled to resume operations on July 18.
