A major road accident took place Thursday in Tavush Province of Armenia, shamshyan.com reports. 

At around 1:40pm, a car and a minibus collided on the Noyemberyan-Ijevan motorway, in the area of Tsaghkavan village.

As a result, 8 people sustained injuries.

Ordinary citizens and rescuers were the first to help the injured.

Then they were transferred to the Ijevan city medical center.

The Tavush provincial investigative department has launched an investigation into this incident, and it is ascertaining the identity of the injured persons.
