YEREVAN. – Armenia’s public television has not yet made a final decision on participation in Eurovision 2012 song contest. Therefore, participation of singer Lucia Moon has not been discussed, head of the Armenian delegation to Eurovision Gohar Gasparyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“When the final decision on participation is made, we will think about possible candidates,” she said. Gasparyan neither refuted nor confirmed Armenian press reports saying Lucia was offered to participate in the contest.

Earlier press reported the singer agreed to represent Armenia in the international contest receiving an offer from her producer in Armenia David Iondem.

Lucia Moon (Babayants) resides in Los Angeles. She was born in Baku but her roots are from Nagorno-Karabakh. After the Sumgait pogroms her family moved to Armenia. However, later they moved to Moscow and in 1992 - to U.S.
