A 4-year-old child has died in a road accident in Armenia.
At 12:24am Monday, the crisis management center of the Ararat provincial rescue department received information that a road accident had occurred near the bridge of Marmarashen village and there were injured persons, the Rescue Service of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
It was found that an Opel (driver: S. G., born in 1990) and a Ford (driver: G. T., born in 1979) had collided on the Masis-Marmarashen motorway, and Opel passenger A. G. (born in 2019) had died as a result.
Prior to the rescuers’ arrival at the scene, the driver of the Opel, and the latter’s passengers L. G. (born in 2004) and H. G. (born in 1970) were transferred to the Masis city medical center, where the driver received respective medical assistance, whereas the passengers were transferred to a Yerevan hospital.
The rescuers took A. G.'s body out of the Opel and carried it to a waiting ambulance.
