Security officers accompanying the minister of defense of Armenia had a road accident Thursday in Yerevan, shamshyan.com reports.

At around 1:50, a Toyota, with a Ministry of Defense (MoD) license plate, and a Hyundai, with a Georgian license plate, collided at an intersection.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of the accident.

Materials are being prepared on the accident.

The aforesaid Toyota is registered in the MoD balance sheet and serves defense minister Suren Papikyan. His security officers use that car.

The patrol service is ascertaining the identity of the drivers.
